Georgia Football: Way-too-early 2-deep depth chart projections for 2021
Wide Receiver
Starting X receiver: George Pickens
Backup: Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint
Starting Z receiver: Jermaine Burton
Backup: Dominick Blaylock
Starting slot receiver: Kearis Jackson
Backup: Arian Smith
This has the look of Georgia’s most talented receiving corps in quite some time. George Pickens has elite talent and was playing great football whenever JT Daniels took over as the starting quarterback. He has not quite put together a full season of elite play yet, but Pickens is as talented as any receiver in the country.
Jermaine Burton took a huge jump this past season and grew into a nice deep threat. He had possibly his best game against Alabama last season and he should put together a nice season with Daniels leading the offense.
Kearis Jackson showed flashes last season and is another speedy threat on the outside. The receiving corps for the Bulldogs will have a big boost when it welcomes back Dominick Blaylock and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint back from injury.
I think Ohio State and Oklahoma are a little better, but Georgia should have one of the most dynamic receiving rooms in college football.
