After a disappointing end to great season. Clemson Football will be back and looking to make a seventh straight appearance in the college football playoff

Clemson Football has been one of the premier programs in the country for the last 5-6 years. However, the way that their last two seasons have ended has left a bad taste in the mouth of head coach Dabo Swinney and the team and they will be looking to get back to the playoff yet again, but this time, Clemson hopes to finish the job and not get blown out again.

The roster for the 2021 season will have a lot of familiar faces on it, especially on the defense, where all 11 starters are expected to return. There was a lot of youth on the defensive line with guys like Myles Murphy, Bryan Breese and KJ Henry getting their first real taste of playing time last season.

Those guys should take a big leap up after stellar seasons last year and with veterans like James Skalski, Nolan Turner Jr and Derion Kendrick back for another season in Death Valley, Clemson football could boast the top defense in the entire country.

When a program loses a top talent like Trevor Lawrence at the quarterback position, there is reason to worry. Clemson fans shouldn’t have anything to worry about with D.J Uiagalelei ready to take over as the full time starter.

Uiagalelei was forced into action when Lawrence tested positive for COVID-19 last fall and he looked fantastic in games vs Boston College and Notre Dame.

The biggest question on offense will be who replaces the all time leading rusher in ACC history in Travis Etienne?

Etienne was such a consistent force over the past four seasons for Clemson football and he might be harder to replace immediately than Lawrence. The receiving corps gets a boost with the return of Justyn Ross, who was injured for all of last season, and he is a dynamic outside threat when healthy.

Clemson starts the season with a massive neutral site matchup vs Georgia in Charlotte and this is what I think the two-deep depth chart will look like on September 4th.
