This is a recruitment that seems like it’s slipping away from Ole Miss, but the fact that Auburn had a coaching change just a month ago could help the Rebels out here.

Trevin Wallace is one of the best linebackers in the country for 2021 and right now he’s being courted by Auburn, Kentucky and Ole Miss. Sensing a theme on this list? Most of the remaining targets for Ole Miss are looking to stay in the SEC so if the Rebels don’t land them, they’ll be haunted by them for years to come.

After losing guys like Lakia Henry and Sam Williams, adding Wallace to the linebacking unit would be a huge development for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels.

Wallace is a solid 6-2, 209-pound inside linebacker from Georgia who’s ranked the No. 74 prospect in the country in the 2021 class, according to 247Sports. The recruiting site also has him listed as the sixth-best inside linebacker in the class and Georgia’s eighth-best prospect.

Auburn may be the current favorite to land him, but don’t count out Ole Miss just yet.
