Day one of the 2021 Senior Bowl was bound to bring some jitters and some interesting new perspectives. There are always several players in the Senior Bowl that stand out the most during the first practice session.

In Tuesday’s practice of the Senior Bowl, there are three players from the National and the American teams who stood out the most. These are players who boost their 2021 NFL Draft stock in just one day. The National Team had two of their players that stood out the most on the defensive side of the ball. The National Team is coached by the Miami Dolphins coaching staff, led by head coach Brian Flores.

For the American Team, several players stood on both sides of the ball. This the team that had the most first round prospects that were able to practice significantly. The American Team is coached by the Carolina Panthers, led by head coach Matt Rhule. There were several significant players from this squad that stood out but there were two from the wide receiver corp.

Several candidates worthy of being considered the best playmakers of the day include Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Mac Jones, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns running back Elijah Mitchell, Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders offensive lineman Robert Jones. Six players in the Senior Bowl have played consistently and boosted their Draft stock at the same time.
