Despite several years without a future, fans and constant gamers of the EA Sports College Football series only had hope to rely on. After years of disappointing unionization and labor talks, the NCAA and EA Sports have finally agreed to reboot the series of the new rebranded “EA Sports College Football.”

While the details of when the next game will be released, it ends the debate of the concept of controversy involving the unpaid usage of a college athlete’s likeness between the NCAA, EA Sports, and college football players.

The next upcoming college football game will ensure there will be four major components involving the NCAA and the athletes for them to be made. The NCAA will not be able to get sued or have unionization against them. Two of the most important factors come in the same discussion such as the NCAA legal structures are being changed and the players will be a system where they will be compensated.

The last NCAA Football game was the 2014 edition released on July 9th, 2013 of the PlayStation 3 and the X-Box 360. This was the 2013 college football season edition of the series which goes back to June of 1993. There has not been a new college football video game created for the gaming community for seven and a half years.

With the game series back in the hands of sports fans and the gaming community, there are many aspects to be featured with the vast advancement of the video game industry. One of which is the potential inclusion of the announcers for the game.

The addition of play-by-play commentary was introduced in NCAA Football 98 released on the PlayStation on July 31st, 1997. There has been play-by-play commentary every year since NCAA Football 98 and has evolved throughout each game.

The next edition of EA Sports College Football, which is to be released in early 2022, will give players the most freedom to date. This could possibly include (if not, it should) the building of the play-by-play, commentary, studio crew, and sidelines reporters throughout the game.

Not only could it include a setup of announcer crews but there might be many media announcing personalities established in the game. This is to continue the effect of personalization in video games as well as include as many talented media personalities as possible.

Here are three opportunities for the EA Sports College Football game to consider.
