LSU Football: Way too early predictions for 2021 schedule
This will be a good chance for LSU to get some of their guys some rest heading into the showdown with Texas A&M the following week. ULM has made some interesting offseason hires, with Terry Bowden taking over as the head coach and Rich Rodriguez running the offense. They will be a more interesting program because of that, but they don’t stand a chance against LSU.
Final Score: LSU 49, ULM 3 (9-2, 5-2 SEC)
This has been one of the more interesting rivalries ever since A&M joined the SEC in 2012 and their clashes at the end of the year have been some big games. I think this game could have spot in the New Years six on the line, as I expect both teams to lose to Alabama and fail to make the SEC championship. The Aggies could have one of the best defenses in the SEC and whoever takes over for Kellen Mond will have the advantage of having a solid running game and offensive line to work with.
This is a hard game to decide between and I could change my mind as the season gets closer, but I think I am going to go with LSU to win this one in Baton Rouge. They are a tough team at home and LSU always seems to find a way to play A&M pretty tough no matter what. Tigers win a close one and finish with a 10 win season in 2021.
Final Score: LSU 28 , Texas A&M 21 (10-2, 6-2)
