Gentry Williams is one of the most versatile athletes in the entire 2022 class and that’s exactly why he’s so highly sought-after. Well, that and the fact that he’s really, really good at this football thing.

Right now, the Tulsa, Okla., native has to be considered Arkansas’ No. 1 priority, but he’s going to be a tough haul as Oklahoma is also pursuing him heavily. LSU, Florida and Georgia are also pushing for him, but the Sooners seem like the favorites and that just means Sam Pittman has his work cut out for this one.

If the Razorbacks want to get better immediately at the skill positions, they need to add a guy like Williams to the fold in the 2022 class. He has all the tools to have an immediate impact wherever Pittman plays him either on the offensive or defensive sides of the ball.

Williams is ranked the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2022 class and he’s listed as the No. 1 athlete, according to the composite. He’s also Oklahoma’s top recruit.
