1. Ohio State Buckeyes

I thought I’d get this one out of the way for everybody. Ohio State will probably win the Big Ten again; that’s not breaking news. Realistically, you’d think that a team losing the amount of pieces that Ohio State is losing would not be such a lock to win the conference, but that’s the level of dominance that they’ve displayed the past few years.

They lost Justin Fields and Trey Sermon, so the offense will have to get into a groove by the time they reach conference play. But who are we kidding? They’re going to win the conference again. If they don’t, you can at least take solace in the fact that I will probably get destroyed on social media for my confidence in them.

The biggest threat to this team is likely the depth of the Big Ten East. Penn State, Indiana, Michigan and even Michigan State could all be potential threats for an upset. The Buckeyes may be the best program, but they cannot get comfortable in 2021.
