2. Indiana Hoosiers

If you love Big Ten football and you’re not on the Indiana bandwagon yet, now is the time to join. Michael Penix Jr. will return from injury as the best quarterback in the Big Ten and this team is out for blood. If they don’t take down Ohio State this year, it could be a while before they get another shot. They’ll play with some motivation.

They return all of the efficient players on offense from a team that won every game on their schedule while their starting quarterback was healthy. They lose safety Jamar Johnson, but almost everybody else will return on the defensive side of the ball. This team should be in competitive shape for the 2021 season.

It’ll likely be a dogfight for second place in the Big Ten East, but Indiana looks like the leading contender to challenge the Buckeyes. In all likelihood, 2021 won’t be the walk in the park for the Hoosiers that it was last year, so they’ll be ready come time to clash with Ohio State on Oct. 23.
