Pick Analysis. Miami. Gregory Rousseau. 60. Scouting Report. EDGE. 14. player

Miami fans only got one real season with Gregory Rousseau, but man, was it ever a good one. Although the Hurricanes haven’t quite lived up to expectations in recent years, Rousseau far exceeded them. He played in 13 games in 2019 and had 54 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks.

Rousseau is one of the best edge rushers in the class and it’s not often you see sack and tackles for loss numbers like that in just one season, especially since he redshirted in 2018. He was a redshirt freshman when he put up those video game-like numbers.

Minnesota needs a ton of help on the defensive line and this would probably be the best option at this point, at least in my opinion. He’s my favorite defensive lineman right now.

Although he hasn’t played in two years, he has the numbers and size and unlimited ceiling that all make him an intriguing prospect. He could be elite.

Give Minnesota some defensive help and it’ll be back in the playoffs.
