player. 55. Pick Analysis. RB. Alabama. Scouting Report. Najee Harris. 24

Pittsburgh has had some good luck at running back over the years. The Steelers had Jerome Bettis when they won the Super Bowl, they took Le’Veon Bell in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft and he became a Pro Bowler before leaving for more money and then James Conner was there to replace him. Oh, and they drafted former Kentucky legend Benny Snell last year and he could be the next star.

Unfortunately, Conner is a free agent this offseason and the Steelers could decide to move on which is why the running back position is one of serious need for this organization heading into the draft.

At No. 24 overall, a running back wouldn’t be a reach and the Steelers would probably have a chance to select the best in the draft class.

Why not take a chance with Najee Harris here?

Football fans have seen Derrick Henry mold into an absolute monster with the Titans and Henry is built in that same mold.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Heisman finalist is fresh off a career year and only bolstered his draft stock. The Steelers need a running back and Harris is the best available. Get it done, Pittsburgh.
