Alabama football suffered lots of attrition this offseason. Can the Crimson Tide reload for yet another title run in 2021?

The Alabama Crimson Tide head into this offseason as the 2020 national champions. This marks Alabama’s sixth title in the Nick Saban era. This program has proven that it does not rebuild, it reloads. The process of reloading does not only include players, but Saban turns over the staff nearly every season.

Some of the assistants that have left through the years include Georgia head coach Kirby Smart, Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher and Maryland head coach Mike Locksley. This season, offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian is headed to Texas, replacing Tom Herman as head coach. Offensive analyst Butch Jones is off to Arkansas State and running backs coach Charles Huff takes over head coaching duties at Marshall.

Players headed to the NFL include Mac Jones, Alex Leatherwood, Jaylen Waddle, Patrick Surtain II and Najee Harris. Everyone wants to predict the fall of the Saban empire in real-time, and it is impossible to do. It is unlikely to happen in the next few seasons since the Tide just signed the best recruiting class of all time, according to 247Sports.com.

Alabama does have some legitimate questions heading into this offseason they have to answer coming into the season. Texas A&M seems primed and ready to challenge the Tide in the SEC West and Georgia’s offense could have a different flavor with USC transfer J.T. Daniels at the helm.

Here are three questions for the Tide heading into this offseason.
