Pick Analysis. Sept 4. 1. player. Scouting Report. New Orleans (LA). Tulane Green Wave. 2115

Oklahoma will kick off their 2021 campaign with a rare road game to a group of five opponent. The Sooners will go on the road to face Tulane, who can be a pretty challenging opponent under head coach Willie Fritz. Tulane is pretty explosive on offense and can give lots of defense headaches, so the Sooners defense will need to be ready from the jump this season.

I think Tulane is a pretty solid program in the group of five, but Oklahoma is a legitimate national championship contender and will be on a mission to show that they are complete enough to win the playoff this year. Tulane will just be the first of many victims this season for Oklahoma. Sooners win big

Final Score: Oklahoma 55, Tulane 17 (1-0)

After going on the road to open the season, Oklahoma is going to have a home game vs Western Carolina, which should be the easiest game of the season, aside from Kansas. The main thing that Oklahoma will want to get out of this game is to make it without any injuries and get some younger guys some experience. Sooners should have this wrapped up at halftime.

Final Score: Oklahoma 66, Western Carolina 10 (2-0)
