Oklahoma Football: Way too early game predictions for 2021 season
After their big win in the rivalry game over Texas, Oklahoma will need to be on their guard when they return to face TCU at home. The Horned Frogs are always a tough out in the Big 12 and it feels like Gary Patterson is due for a big season at some point after a few disappointments. The defense should be one of the best in the conference, but like recent years, it will depend on how much growth TCU has made on the offensive side of the ball.
Oklahoma is usually due for a letdown at some point in the season and it could come at the hand of the Horned Frogs. I think this game will be closer than the experts think, but Spencer Rattler makes enough plays down the stretch to get a closer than expected victory.
Final Score: Oklahoma 35, TCU 27 (7-0, 4-0 Big 12)
After a tough game vs the Horned Frogs, Oklahoma will go on the road to face the Kansas Jayhawks, a team that seems destined to stay at the bottom of the Big rankings for all eternity. I think that this could be another rough season for Kansas and it is just hard to see them making much progress as a program as long as Les Miles is still the head coach. It will be another long season in Lawrence for the Jayhawks until Basketball season starts back.
Final Score: Oklahoma 63, Kansas 7 (8-0, 5-0 Big 12)
