45. Best SEC football players of all time: Tracy Rocker, Auburn football

There have been several dominant defensive tackles to come out of the Auburn Tigers football program, but Tracy Rocker stands above all of them. During his time with the school, Rocker dominated the college football landscape, being named All-SEC three times.

During the 1988 college football season, he became the first player in SEC history to win both the Outland Trophy and the Lombardi Award. That season, Rocker was named a consensus First-Team All-American, his second of two All-American nods.

In that same season, Rocker became the first Auburn player to win the SEC Player of the Year honor, finishing up his career with 21 sacks. A member of the College Football Hall of Fame and Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, Rocker was selected in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the now-Washington Football team, playing two years in the NFL.

Though his NFL career did not match the work he put in at Auburn, he became an incredible coach, coming back to coach Nick Fairley, who was our No. 49-ranked player on this list. Currently, Rocker is back in the NFL as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Eagles.
