It’s not going to be easy to top the 2021 recruiting class, but Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M football are headed in the right direction for 2022.

Jimbo Fisher just signed the No. 4 recruiting class in the SEC which may not seem all that impressive, but believe it or not, that was good enough for the seventh-best class in the nation.

The positive momentum for Texas A&M is palpable and Fisher is fresh off a strong finish to the 2020 season and recruits are taking notice. The veteran head coach will have a chance to top his 2021 class with an even better 2022 group.

Which recruits currently sit at the top of the Aggies’ list for 2022?

Texas A&M currently has one receiver committed to its 2022 recruiting class, but Kojo Antwi is an absolute game-changer.

The Suwanee, Ga., native has three programs standing out for him at this point in the process, led by Texas A&M, Ohio State and Georgia. It makes sense that the home-state Bulldogs would be high up on his list but Ohio State and Texas A&M may be looked at as the leaders right now. Don’t sleep on Kirkby Smart and Georgia just yet, though.

Antwi is ranked the No. 162 overall prospect and 19th-best receiver in the 2022 class, according to the composite, and he holds nearly three dozen offers.

Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M could most definitely use him.
