Texas A&M Football: Top 4 early targets in 2022 recruiting class
Everyone knows the offensive line is so important for teams looking to contend for a national title. All you have to do is look at the teams who have won national titles and those who have made playoffs. What do they all have in common? They had multiple NFL-caliber prospects along the offensive line.
Texas A&M is trying to follow that mold and Kam Dewberry would be a good start.
Dewberry is ranked the No. 115 overall prospect and 11th-best offensive tackle in the class, according to the composite.
The 6-foot-4, 313-pound tackle from Humble, Texas, is very high on the Aggies and they are more than likely the favorite at this point in his recruitment, but he’s also being courted by Alabama, Ohio State, Texas and Oklahoma. Those are four of the top programs in college football and it’s going to be tough to hold off a few blue bloods.
Dewberry has the size, strength and athletic ability to adjust to the college game and he might even be an immediate impact player if he does pick the Aggies.
