After signing a loaded recruiting class in 2021, here are three signees who’ll have instant impacts for the Trojans next season.

The 2020 USC football season was a weird one. It was strange because there were only six games and in the first five, the Trojans were great but fell apart when the Pac-12 title was on the line.

Yet, the 5-1 season was still important for Clay Helton and after signing a top-10 recruiting class filled with playmakers, especially on the defensive side of the ball, there is a lot of optimism in the land of Troy right now.

Kedon Slovis is slated to return as the starting quarterback and even if he struggles, USC football fans are really high on the talent of four-star quarterback and incoming freshman, Miller Moss one of the top QB prospects in the entire 2021 class.

While Moss, a top-100 recruit is one of the most well-known recruits in this class, due to Slovis, it might take him a year or two to make an impact.

With these other three signees, it shouldn’t take that long and here are three who will make an immediate impact next season for the Trojans.

4-star LB Julien Simon

Julien Simon is an impressive four-star linebacker out of Tacoma, Washington and even though he might not be rated as highly as Raesjon Davis, who USC landed in the late signing period, Simon has a really good chance to play right away.

Simon is 6-foot-2, 221 pounds and is exceptional in pass coverage but also stout against the run. He can play inside or outside and was ranked as the No. 8 outside linebacker in 2021, as well as the No. 120 player overall.

Simon is an absolute stud and he will find his way onto the field early for the Trojans and once he does, he’s not going to leave.
