4-star CB Ceyair Wright

The last 2021 signee on this list is another southern California kid who decided to stay home and play for the Trojans and that’s Ceyair Wright.

Wright is another truly elite prospect and he’s got really good size for a corner at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. Wright is ranked as the No. 6 cornerback in the 2021 class and was 79th overall.

And there’s no doubt that USC football needs some help at corner. Donte Williams is one of the guys that will be in the mix and on the field for the Trojans and even he told 247 sports that he expects Wright to be a starter next year.

Wright still needs to add some weight to his frame and coming up in run support might not be his best attribute right now, but the kid can cover. He’s also played receiver so he’s got really good ball skills and USC did well to keep him home.

The Trojans need more playmakers in the secondary and landing Wright, plus Domani Jackson in 2022 is some major progress, but now let’s see what Wright can do on the field in 2021. My bet is that he’s starting or playing a lot in the first game.
