Pick Analysis. Nov. 20. 11. player. Scouting Report. Notre Dame (Ind.). Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. 880

For the final home game of the season for the Fighting Irish, they will welcome Geoff Collins and Georgia Tech to Notre Dame. The Yellow Jackets are hoping to take a bit of a step forward in Collin’s third season and the potential is there for a small leap and to make a bowl game.

Georgia Tech is returning some exciting young talent like quarterback Jeff Sims and if he can cut down on the turnovers, he could be one of the most improved players in the entire country.

While I think there will be some improvement in Atlanta this season, I don’t know that the record will reflect it. With games against Clemson, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami and North Carolina, it will be an uphill battle to make a bowl game. I don’t think they have enough to go on the road and take down the Fighting Irish yet.

Final Score: Notre Dame 42, Georgia Tech 24 (8-3)

Pick Analysis. Nov. 27. Stanford (Calif.). Scouting Report. Stanford Cardinal. 12. player. 871

For the final game of the season Notre Dame will get to face a familiar foe in Stanford. Like USC and Navy, Notre Dame’s annual game with the Cardinal was sidetracked because of COVID-19 and the two teams did not get to play in 2020. Stanford was a decent team in 2020, but lost some serious talent to the NFL in quarterback Davis Mills, cornerback Paulson Adebo and offensive tackle Walker Little.

I have not seen enough offensive evolution from Stanford to trust them to be a serious top 25 team yet and I don’t know if that will change this season.

I think that Notre Dame will go on the road and get the win over Stanford. There are just too many many unknowns for the Cardinal for me to trust them to win a game versus Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish finish the season strong and get to nine wins.

Final Score: Notre Dame 35, Stanford 24 ( Final Record 9-3)
