3- Defensive End: Isaiah Foskey

Notre Dame, over the years, has had a lot of good pass rush coming off the edges. 2020 was no different with seniors Daelin Hayes and Ade Ogundeji moving onto the NFL.

Next man up for the Irish, and one of those who should be first in line to prove himself is Isaiah Foskey.

Isaiah Foskey played in a reserve role for the Irish during the 2020 season but definitely made sure his play was noticed. He recorded 12 tackles and 4.5 sacks on the year. Foskey also blocked a punt against Pittsburgh, scooped it up and scored a touchdown. This was actually his second punt block of his young career as he blocked a punt in his freshman year in 2019 at Stanford.

Foskey has a really good motor, is capable of getting in the backfield, but also athletic to drop off into coverage as well. New defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman comes in and has some really nice players returning on the defensive side of the ball, Isaiah Foskey is one of them.
