Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings are the second team on my list and they would be a great landing spot for Mac Jones because for one, they need a long-term answer at the position and secondly, there are some nice pieces in place for a young quarterback.

Minnesota needs to play better defensively than it did last season but the Vikings have some solid pieces on that side of the ball that are still pretty young. It’s the kind of defense that can you get to the postseason and have success.

One of the biggest issues for Minnesota has always been the lack of a good quarterback. The Vikings will get a solid quarterback for a year or two but haven’t found the guy who can win year in and year out.

Jones may not last until the 14th pick, which is where the Vikings are selecting, but if he does, Minnesota needs to draft him.  He has all the tools to be a really successful NFL quarterback and frankly, he probably should go in the top-10, making him a steal for Minnesota.

Plus, with Dalvin Cook in the backfield, along with Jordan Jefferson and Adam Thielen, Jones would be surrounded by weapons, as well as a good defense.
