Games 5-8

Maryland: Win

Every Big Ten game for the Terrapins serves as a reminder for why they should have never been so determined to leave the ACC seven years ago. Iowa will carry on such a trend when they win in Maryland by three scores.

Penn State: Win

The Nittany Lions will serve as the Hawkeyes’ first true challenge in their conference schedule. But nonetheless, Iowa should still be expected to come out of the matchup with the win.

Penn State took a tumble in relevance last season and will be visiting the Hawkeyes in Kinnick Stadium, which is one of the tougher places in the country to play.

Purdue: Win

There is a reason that Fox Sports 1 pundit Colin Cowherd has referred to Purdue as “Purdon’t.” Iowa is once again at home and will put on quite a show at the expense of the Boilermakers.

Wisconsin: Win

The Badgers are no joke, especially on the road. But they had three losses last year. Only one was not competitive, and that was the one dealt by Iowa. After a trivial victory over Purdue and a bye week, the Hawkeyes will surely be well-rested enough to outmatch Wisconsin.
