10. Donnie Corley-WR, Texas Southern

Donnie Corley began his career at Michigan State. As a freshman, Corely had 33 receptions and three touchdowns. Corley was the 2nd rated player and a four-star out of Martin Luther King High School in Michigan. After being one of the best freshmen receivers in the Big Ten 2016, Corley was dismissed when he was charged with sexual assault.

After spending time at Coahoma Community College, Corley signed with Texas Southern last season. Corley was the lone bright spot on a team that did not win a single game last season. Corley was the only receiver in the SWAC to average 100 yards per game.

Corley has ideal size at 6-foot-2 and near the 200-pound mark. Corley showed both at Michigan State and Texas Southern an innate ability to high-point the ball and utilize excellent body control. The Michigan native is aggressive with his hands, not waiting to cradle the ball with his body.

Corley’s frame can hold more weight and his physical upside is as good as there is in the draft. The sexual assault charge will hinder Corley’s ability to get drafted in the first four rounds. It seems as if that is in the past. If that is so, a team could have a steal late in the draft.
