The 2021 NFL Draft will be filled with potential late-round sleepers. These late round cornerbacks have potential to be steals with a high impact.

Every team looks for that late round gem. As coveted as first round picks are in the NFL, drafts are won in the later rounds. Building through the draft is the best way to get that young core and make a run at the Super Bowl.

Guys like Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, Asante Samuel and Josh Norman are all Day 3 picks of the draft. All have been elite at their position.

It should go without saying that not every late round pick has that level of success at the next level. For every Kam Chancellor, there’s ten other guys that don’t make it.

Basically, draft an All-Pro in the first round and you’re smart. Draft an All-Pro in the fifth round and you’re a genius.

The cornerback class this year has some hidden gems in it. There’s are a lot of quality players that’ll be available this year. Caleb Farley and Patrick Surtain have led the talk about the position, but if a team misses out on them, they shouldn’t panic.

With the help of WalterFootball.com, we’ll be looking at the cornerbacks that are potential Day 3 (rounds 4-7) steals. These are guys that will need some work at the next level, but with that work can have an impact in the NFL.
