Carolina Panthers

Another team that needs a quarterback in the 2021 NFL draft is the Carolina Panthers. Teddy Bridgewater can be a solid quarterback but he’s not a Super-Bowl-winning kind of guy.

That’s not saying that Lance is; he could be a bust. But, he’s got the talent that is worth taking a chance on and the Panthers, unlike the Patriots, have a top-10 pick.

Picking eighth actually might not be early enough, especially with so many QB-needy teams sitting in front of the Panthers, however, Lance’s stock does seem to have a fallen a bit.

Once the draft gets closer though, quarterbacks tend to move up and Lance will likely be no different unless there are some off-the-field issues or injuries.

The Panthers have never really replaced Cam Newton and Trey Lance, a prospect with size and athleticism similar to Newton, could be the answer to that question.
