Boise State Football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2021
By Austin Lloyd
Boise State football has been Group of Five royalty for the last 15 years or so, and they intend to uphold that reputation in 2021. Can they do so?
Boise State is a program that the current generation of college football fans cannot imagine performing poorly in any way, as Boise State has not suffered a losing record since 1997.
Having long cemented themselves as a Mountain West Conference blue-blood, BSU surely looks down upon the probability of a downfall with disgust and, quite frankly, humor.
But the Broncos, while remaining strong throughout the 2020 season, saw multiple red flags that will cause them some serious harm if ignored, including but not limited to BYU crushing them at home during their 11-1 run, and San Jose State dismantling them to secure the conference title for last year.
While it may sound silly, it does have to be considered if perhaps Boise State’s days as the Mountain West top-dog are over, especially after the naming of Andy Avalos as head coach (a position that he has never held at any level of football).
Will Boise State fall apart, or will they once again have a safe transition between coaches and continue their dynasty in the college football world?
Here are the game-by-game predictions for the Boise State Broncos in 2021.
