9. Fresno State (W)

This will likely be what the college football community calls a “struggle win”. The Broncos are vastly better than the Bulldogs, but the latter has come out on top in their last two times hosting this miniature rivalry, which they do once again in 2021. Boise State will win a well-fought game; it being decided by over 20 points would be a surprise.

Record: 6-3, 5-0

10. Wyoming (W)

The Cowboys have been somewhat inconsistent in recent memory, but not when it comes to their losing ways versus Boise State. The Broncos will be feeling the grooves of both a three-game win streak and a return to their home turf for the first time since their bout with Air Force.

Record: 7-3, 6-0

11. New Mexico (W)

There is a reason why New Mexico is one of the most forgettable programs at the FBS level. This will be the last home game of Boise State’s 2021 schedule, and the crowd will be in an absolute uproar.

The Broncos have won their last three run-ins with the Lobos by an average margin of 26 points. This time should be no outlier.

Record: 8-3, 7-0

12. San Diego State (W)

Unfortunately, there is very little to say about this game in terms of either excitement or implications. The two teams don’t necessarily get along, and Boise State will be on the road, logically making the game more of a challenge. But outside of that? BSU merely closes out their regular season with a physical victory over a MWC foe.

Final Record: 9-3, 8-0

The Boise State Broncos conclude their 2021 regular season schedule with a not-too-shabby 9-3 record. With all of their losses stemming from out-of-conference competition, they should still be a top candidate to snatch the crown of the Mountain West Conference.

With three blemishes on the “L” column of their record, this upcoming season might result in nothing more than another Las Vegas Bowl appearance for BSU. But nonetheless, a wonderful beginning to the Andy Avalos era in Boise.
