14. Penn State Nittany Lions
The fact that there is so little to say about the Lions’ uniforms is a driving reason for why they come in last place on these rankings. They are traditional, but navy blue and white, with a bald helmet of the latter color; that’s it. They just look like practice garb to me.
13. Maryland Terrapins
I won’t blame the Terrapins football team, rather I will blame the state of Maryland as a whole for these monstrosities. The homage to the Maryland flag is a creative concept, but goodness the flag in question is hideous. When you plaster that design all over a football uniform, you should be flung behind bars.
12. Northwestern Wildcats
Purple is such an awesome color in the first place, but especially in a college football color scheme. However, you know what ruins it? A strange pattern of lines slapped across the jerseys. The worst part is that I am still awaiting an explanation on why they went with such an ungodly idea. It certainly could not have been because they thought it looked good.
