8. Wisconsin Badgers

Wisconsin dawns a very middle-of-the-road fit, with a simple yet well-executed color scheme of red and white, and a basic yet appealing emblem. As a result, it finds itself with an average ranking on this list.

7. Purdue Boilermakers

Black and gold is a dynamic color duo that is nearly impossible to not capitalize with, and Purdue represents the pair very well. The helmets photographed above would probably look better with a white trim somewhere on them, and the Boilermakers typically don’t step too far outside of their comfort zone when trying to wow their home crowd, but still a solid look for Purdue nonetheless.

6. Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Rutgers, too, has a simple scheme of red and white. However, they focus on the former more when it comes to their home uniforms, as they should. The shiny scarlet helmets with the icy white “R” and facemask is so satisfying to the eyes. If only the Knights played as good as they looked.
