Pick Analysis. Penn State. 9 . player. Scouting Report. Micah Parsons. 45. LB

After watching quarterbacks like Fields and Lance go off the board, the Broncos go to the defensive side of the ball and give us our first defender in this 2021 NFL mock draft in Penn State’s Micah Parsons.

Parsons is a versatile defender who can do a lot of different things. The Broncos have needed help at linebacker and Parsons would provide that. He would also bring a play-making presence that the defense really needs.

123. Scouting Report. Alabama. 10. Pick Analysis. CB. Patrick Surtain III. player

Dallas needs to get better on defense and while there will be some thought about taking Michigan pass rusher Kwity Paye at this spot, Surtain III is just too hard to pass up here. He’s the best corner in the draft and many people feel he’s the best defender.

Dallas does have a history of drafting big guys early, but Surtain is a different kind of defensive back with his blend of size and speed. He can be the shutdown corner the Cowboys haven’t had in some time.
