Behind the dominance of the Crimson Tides and Buckeyes of the college football world, there stands a wide array of schools waiting to take the country by storm. These programs are almost always in such a position due to their head coach.

Smaller programs, and/or ones placed amongst bigger and better competition, will sometimes be subjected to this category of college football as they are bound to be more than what meets the eye (thanks to having the leadership and talent to at least make some noise and, as a result, headlines).
