#5: Missouri Tigers

The University of Missouri is not necessarily the 5th-best SEC football team in itself, rather it is also thanks to some of the circumstances surrounding them next year. The Tigers have proven the aggressive nature of their offense, they play in the weaker of the two Southeastern divisions, and they have only one true SEC West threat on their upcoming regular-season schedule (Texas A&M). Even by the Tigers’ standards, this opportunity is quite difficult to waste.

#4: Florida Gators

Dan Mullen being a darn-good coach is an understatement, and the Gators’ offensive regime was nothing short of potent in 2020. But a lot of that offensive firepower will be on NFL rosters by the start of next season, and UF fanatics are bound to be taken aback at just how much that’ll sting.

#3: Texas A&M Aggies

As we previously established, the Aggies were just short of a playoff appearance last year and showed great promise for the future with their Orange Bowl victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels. With an upset over Alabama, a national title could be looming for Texas A&M in January.
