Dallas Cowboys

One thing that came out recently was that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones really wants Kyle Pitts, which could mean that Jones is willing to trade up and make a deal.

Sometimes, in the NFL, that’s all it takes. A team has to fall in love with a player, then it will do what it has to in order to go up and get him.

Jones isn’t afraid of making bold moves and it’s no secret that the Atlanta Falcons want to trade out of the No. 4 spot. The Falcons still have Matt Ryan, plus they have cap issues, so trading down could save them a little cash and also build their depth.

And unless another team such as Chicago or Denver is trying to move and take a quarterback with the fourth pick, then it might not be that expensive to move up.

At any rate, outside of the quarterbacks, Pitts could be the most unique player in this draft. Ja’Marr Chase is dominant, but tight ends can be a different sort of matchup nightmare.

If Dallas can move up and take what it views as an elite player, it wouldn’t shock me if it made that move because Pitts is the kind of player that’s worth going up to get.
