This might be a familiar name for Florida fans because Warren Thompson was actually on a rival team for the past couple of seasons. The former four-star prospect from Seffner, Fla., was one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the state in the 2018 class and he looked to be down to Florida State and Oregon before picking the Seminoles.

Florida was still recruiting him and he has to be familiar with the program but the question is, does he want to play for a rival?

Thompson could thrive in the Florida offense because the Gators are now in need of some receiver help. Not only that, but the offense is losing a handful of pass-catchers and offensive weapons as Kyle Pitts, too, is gone. So many weapons in the passing game have departed which means Thompson could be a top option on the market.

Dan Mullen should at least be inquiring about the former Gator target who picked the Seminoles in the end.

Thompson has a great frame, standing 6-3 and 200 pounds, and had 11 catches for 195 yards. and a touchdown in two seasons with the Seminoles. He could be a huge pick-up for the Gators.
