Reunited and it feels so good.

After going undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Thaddeus Moss bounced around from a couple of teams before ultimately getting picked up by the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.

This has some major significance for LSU football fans. One, it gives them a chance to follow the career of Moss who many believe should have been drafted in last year’s class, but two, it also reunites two LSU fan favorites in Cincinnati.

Moss now joins his former quarterback Joe Burrow in Cincinnati which is a big deal because they both excelled when they connected in Baton Rouge.

Could this be the life injection Moss needed in his NFL career?

While most LSU fans will be New Orleans Saints fans, Cincinnati will have to be a close second as two former national champions and fan favorites will be tasked with making the Bengals relevant.

Comfortability in LSU football backgrounds

Sometimes all it needs for young aspiring NFL players to succeed in the league is getting a sense of comfortability in a change of scenery.

Moss had some injury issues which placed him on waivers and allowed the Bengals to pick him up, but he has to feel relieved that Cincinnati was the team that came calling. Knowing that his former quarterback and LSU teammate will be leading the Bengals and potentially ensuring he has a place on the roster will be huge for Moss’ confidence.

In his one season at LSU with Burrow in 2019, Moss helped the Tigers win the national title as a breakout tight end with 47 catches for 570 yards and four touchdowns. He was one of Burrow’s favorite targets and looked like one of the best tight ends in the nation.

This career move is only going to help Moss.
