Arkansas might be in the portal looking for a running back to help replace Rakeem Boyd even though he didn’t have the most productive season in year one of Sam Pittman.

The new head coach is a former offensive line coach and values the run game. He got a breakout season from Trelon Smith but outside of him, there’s not much experience returning. Sure, there’s TJ Hammonds returning along with a couple of talented freshmen, but the Razorbacks would be wise to add a guy who has a couple of years of college ball under his belt and has a past relationship with the program.

Deondrick Glass had to sit behind Chuba Hubbard at Oklahoma State for the past couple of seasons and the former four-star from Katy, Texas, has just two career carries for eight yards in one appearance.

Glass just needed a change of scenery at a place that might better utilize him in the run game and Arkansas will need a decent one-two punch with Boyd departing.

The 5-11, 200-pound former top-250 prospect was recruited by Arkansas as well as Georgia (when Pittman was there). This would be a great fit.
