TE. Miami. Brevin Jordan. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. 51

Like Gregory Rousseau, Brevin Jordan was once thought to be a sure-fire first-round pick, but injury concerns and a disappointing pro day have slid Jordan’s stock day to the second or third round.

However, I’m optimistic that Jordan will be a solid tight end in the NFL and he reminds me a bit of Titans tight end Jonnu Smith. He is an exceptional receiver and has the speed to pull away from most linebackers that are matched with him. Jordan is also very dangerous in space and after the catch and that is why I think he is such a great for Sean McVay and the Rams’ offense.

The Rams will be without a first-round pick this season and for the next two years due to the deal that they made for Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford. The Rams also are not in a great position in terms of the salary cap and that meant they were not able to resign some key players, including tight end Gerald Everett.

I think that getting a guy like Jordan to replace Everett and become another weapon for Stafford would make this offense one of the NFL’s best, especially with McVay calling the plays.

Projection: No. 57 overall to the Rams
