Quavaris Crouch, LB Tennessee

Another name that has been linked to the Wolverines for no other reason than prior recruiting ties is Tennessee linebacker Quavaris Crouch.

Michigan football was a finalist for Crouch when he was a recruit and there was some thought that he could wind up with the Wolverines after he entered the portal this offseason.

Now, things are more up in the air. It’s even possible that Crouch returns to the Vols, as the coaching staff has left the door open for that.

Crouch is 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, and would upgrade the talent at inside linebacker instantly. No disrespect to Josh Ross or Michael Barrett, but Crouch would be an immediate starter for U-M.

Maybe the closest thing to a player like Crouch is four-star freshman Junior Colson, a top-100 recruit who worked his way onto the two-deep during the spring.

But Michigan football needs more guys like that and Crouch is still available, so it’s time to make a run at him and all the guys on this list.
