47. Scouting Report. CB. Georgia. 13. Pick Analysis. Tyson Campbell. player

On the other side of the Georgia football secondary is Tyson Campbell, a former five-star recruit who lived up to the billing during his time in Athens. Campbell is an imposing cornerback at 6’2 185 LBS and has room to grow into his frame during his time in the NFL.

Campbell was an instant player from the time that he was a freshman and while he took a little time to get used to the level of play in the SEC, Campbell was able to show his immense talent. While only tallying one interception in three years, Campbell is more of a shutdown corner and that should not be a worry for teams.

While I don’t think he is a first-round talent, Campbell should be one of the first players off of the board in the second round and should be in line for playing time.

There are several teams that might not be able to take a corner in the first round that are able to take one in the second and I think a perfect for Campbell would be the L.A Chargers.

After letting Casey Hayward go, the Chargers will be in line for a new cornerback and I think that a guy like Tyson Campbell would be a nice replacement.
