A team’s offense can only be as good as its offensive line and here are three O-line steals to be found in the 2021 NFL draft.

It’s worth repeating that football is a game won in the trenches. The offensive line is a key part of every god team because in order to be successful, you need to be able to dominate at the line of scrimmage. That’s what will make the position a focus in the 2021 NFL draft.

If your offensive line is bad, you can’t run the ball and your quarterback spends most of the game running for his life rather than trying to make a game-changing play. Basically, you’re stuck in neutral.

It’s not a direct indicator of how good an offense will be. There are some exceptions to the rule. The Chicago Bears finished 8-8 and made the playoffs despite Pro Football Focus 20th ranked line. The Patriots missed the playoffs and went 7-9 with PFF’s fourth-best unit.

At the end of the day, everyone is looking to improve upfront. Whether it’s a new impact starter or someone that can provide depth and eventually grow into a starting role, NFL teams recognize the need to improve at a key position.

Today we’re looking at five day-three draft steals that are diamonds in the rough at the next level.
