4. LSU Tigers

The Tigers saw a great unraveling in 2020 after ripping off one of the greatest college football seasons ever just the year prior. This did not ruin LSU’s recruiting display, however, as they still have the on-field talents to physically handle any team, even if it holds the powers of Alabama.

Head coach Ed Orgeron is also no stranger to Nick Saban and his Tide, as he will be returning to the occupation for a fifth-consecutive season (sixth if you include his interim position for a portion of the 2016 season).

3. Ole Miss Rebels

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has a rather extensive background with Saban, particularly as a coordinator and right-hand man. Entering his second season with the Mississippi, Kiffin has already shown that the team is moving in the right direction, especially in regards to their newfound offensive prowess (in a 10-game 2020 schedule, the Rebels scored at least 21 points every single time).

Unlike some fanatics, I do not find myself humoring the odds of him being the blessed savior of the Ole Miss program. He will have Saban beading with sweat before many other coaches, though.
