A familiar face graces the top spot as Arizona State as Marquis Spiker could go from one Pac-12 team to another. In just two years with Washington, Spiker had only three catches for 67 yards and those all came during his freshman campaign in 2019.

Entering his third year, Spiker just needed a change of scenery as the former four-star receiver just didn’t get an opportunity with the Huskies.

Arizona State recruited Spiker out of high school as did a good chunk of the Pac-12. He was being courted by Arizona, Cal, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA, USC, Washington, Utah, and Washington State.

The Sun Devils are losing Frank Darby and while the receiving corps is young and talented, adding a veteran like Spiker who was incredibly highly touted out of high school would be a perfect fit. He’s ranked the No. 59 overall prospect and ninth-best receiver, according to the composite.

Plus, who wouldn’t want a 6-3, 200-pound wide out to add to the mix with an elite quarterback like Jayden Daniels?
