885. . . . Anthony Russo. 2. player

Bio: Player Info
Position: Quarterback
Former ream: Temple
Year: Senior
High school rating: Three Star

Anthony Russo has many Spartan fans intrigued due to the poor quarterback play for the majority of the 2020 season. However, Payton Thorne has a strong following and support of Michigan State fans hoping that he will be the starting quarterback moving forward.

Russo, however, is an experienced quarterback who has 26 Division 1 starts under his belt. He is six foot four and around 245 pounds reminds some fans of the body frame of a Spartan great, Connor Cook. Russo had a decent spring game and his highlight came a long touchdown pass to Jayden Reed. It appears to be a two-man race with him and Thorne but Russo could easily be named the starting quarterback against Northwestern in the season opener.

889. . . . Kenneth Walker III. 1. player

Bio: Player Info
Position: Running Back
Former team: Wake Forest
Year: Redshirt sophomore
High school rating: 3-star

Kenneth Walker is the most exciting, important, and soon to be the most productive player for the Spartans for the 2021 season. Last season, for example, the collection of Spartan running backs had zero rushing touchdowns in 2020 while Walker himself scored 13 rushing scores in the ACC last season.

No disrespect to all of the other incoming transfers but Walker has the potential to not only be a difference-maker but could win the Spartans a game or two with his ability to reach the endzone. He is well-deserving of the No. 1 ranking here.

The Spartans are also not done adding transfers as well and it appears are in the lead to get Tennessee linebacker Quavaris Crouch who is being predicted to transfer to Michigan State. He and his staff are building something solid in East Lansing and we shall see how many wins it translates to in 2021.
