One of the most talked-about prospects in this year’s draft is Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. The opinions on Fields vary depending on who you listen to.
Some think that Fields is the most overrated quarterback in the draft and is the most likely to fall. There are some like myself who think that Fields is the second-best quarterback in the draft after Trevor Lawrence and should be selected in the top three.
Fields has been one of the best quarterbacks in college football the past two seasons and has unlimited potential from an athletic standpoint. His arm strength is off the charts and he has enough mobility to be a dual-threat.
The top of the draft is sure to be quarterback heavy and that means Fields could go to a number of teams. I think the San Francisco 49ers decided to move up to three from the 12th pick with a certain quarterback in mind and I think that QB is Fields. Fields would be the most talented QB that 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has had to work with and he would be an excellent fit in the offense.
