Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. DE. 3. player. Penn State. Shaka Toney. 54

With Micah Parsons deciding to opt-out of the 2020 season, Penn State needed a defensive leader to step up for them and the guy that answered the call was defensive end Shaka Toney.

Toney was one of the best defensive ends in the Big Ten and was able to provide a constant pass rush for the Nittany Lions. Finishing his career with 20.5 sacks, Toney was a constant presence for Penn State and one that will not easily be replaced. While Toney is not the athletic marvel that his teammate Jayson Oweh is, Toney was a veteran player who provided production every game.

I think that Toney will provide solid depth for a team at some point in the draft. He will not go as high as Parsons or Oweh because I think he is closer to being maxed out as a player than those two, but he will be a contributor. I think a team like the Philadelphia Eagles would be a solid landing spot where he could possibly replace some of the older veteran guys there like Brandon Graham in few seasons.

Prediction: 150th to the Philadelphia Eagles
