One of the most impressive things about Lincoln Riley’s tenure so far with Oklahoma football has been his ability to put guys in the NFL and make an instant impact.

From guys like Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray, Ceedee Lamb, and Mark Andrews, Oklahoma has been a consistent factory for future NFL stars. While the Sooners may not have a quarterback or top-tier prospect in this draft, there is some value to be found with the guys coming out of Norman.

Oklahoma’s draft prospects consist of some guys that were thought to be high draft picks at the start of the season and guys that had a great 2020 season and saw their draft stock rise because of it. The guy that gets the most discussion is interior offensive lineman Creed Humphrey. Humphrey has been a fixture of the Oklahoma offensive line for the past few years and was one of the leaders of the team. He was once thought to be a first-round lock, but an uneven 2020 season has cast doubt on that.

Humphrey has the ability to play both guard and center and that kind of versatility is valuable to NFL teams and should make him the top prospect out of Oklahoma.

No Oklahoma player has seen his draft stock rise quite like Ronnie Perkins. After coming back from a suspension, Perkins changed Oklahoma’s defense and made them into one of the best in the Big 12, which was a huge improvement. Perkins is twitchy off the edge and should be able to provide pass rush from day one.

Another draft riser is running back Rhamondre Stevenson who took over the Sooners’ backfield and was a physical presence and made their offense better. A great performance in the Cotton Bowl made Stevenson appear on everyone’s draft radar.

Here is where I think Oklahoma football’s top draft prospects will land.
