2021 NFL Mock Draft: Mac Jones explodes into top 5 in final edition
It’s finally here. It feels Alabama was just hoisting yet another national title trophy, but now the NFL draft is officially upon us. And you know that means it’s time to piece together one final NFL mock draft before the first round kicks off on Thursday night.
Just months after winning the national title, Alabama is going to send a handful of prospects to the draft via the first round. Yes, Alabama is once again going to approach 5-10 first-round picks.
The Tide will likely dominate headlines on draft night, but the first overall pick should be Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence which has been a forgone conclusion since his sophomore year. He only improved each season and led the Tigers to another successful season which ended with an ACC title and a College Football Playoff berth.
Quarterbacks dominate final 2021 NFL Mock Draft
Quarterbacks, beginning with Lawrence, will dominate the top-10 picks in this year’s draft, but who lands where after the Clemson star is still up in the air.
Reports have surfaced about scouts doubting Justin Fields’ drive — which is ludicrous — and there’s been a new development according to Ian Rapoport that revealed that the 49ers are looking at two prospects: Mac Jones and Trey Lance. Yes, that means Fields will fall for some reason.
Let’s see where everyone lands in our final NFL mock draft ahead of Thursday’s opening night.
Note: This mock draft doesn’t include projected trades.
