Pick Analysis. Christian Darrisaw. player. 13. Scouting Report. OT. Virginia Tech. 13

There are a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball for Los Angeles but Justin Herbert is the future and there needs to be plenty of protection around him.

That’s where Christian Darrisaw comes into play.

Darrisaw was a first-team All-ACC selection in 2020 after being a second-teamer in 2019 and he started all nine games at left tackle for the Hokies. The Chargers are in need of a left tackle, so why not one that is widely considered the No. 2 or 3 at the position heading into Thursday night?

The former Freshman All-American stands 6-foot-5 and 314 pounds and would be the perfect protection for Herbert.

No, he’s no Penei Sewell (Herbert’s former teammate) or Rashawn Slater, but Darrisaw is the next best thing here at No. 13.
