Yet another reunion here for Tua Tagovailoa as the Dolphins will take their second Alabama offensive player in the draft. This time around, it’s All-American and Doak Walker Award winner Najee Harris heading down to Miami to join his former quarterback.

Harris surprised everyone after the 2019 season, announcing his return in 2020 for one final run at a national title. Good thing he stayed because he improved his stock and actually helped the Crimson Tide win it all.

It’s hard to believe that after rushing for 1,224 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2019 that he actually improved on all of his numbers in 2020. As a senior, he rushed for 1,466 yards and a whopping 26 touchdowns on 5.8 yards per touch. He was one of the Heisman Trophy finalists and was a touchdown machine.

As if that wasn’t enough, he proved he could be a dual-threat in the backfield, catching 43 passes for 425 yards and four more scores.

Harris averaged 6.0 yards per touch over his career and scored 46 rushing and 11 receiving touchdowns. He’s going to immediately improve the Dolphins’ offense which needs an elite running back.
